Science vs. Religion.

Scientists claims that the world and all the universe was created by the big bang.

Christians say that the big bang is'nt real and God created man, beast and earth.

I see the problem with all of these people. No one is looking deep into these topics and seeing what each of them is really implying or asking.

For example:

The bible usually asks the question "Why is this happening?"

Science usually asks "How did it happen?"

What alot of people don't realize is that science and religion go hand in hand. The only diffrence is they are asking two diffrent yet simple questions.

With this I will leave you to discuss.

I think your assumption here is false. The question of whether or not Jesus existed is a historical one not a scientific one. I don't think scientists make any particular claims one way or the other about Jesus since his existence or non-existence has nothing whatsoever to do with science.

I worded that wrong my fault.

Ok, so then what's the point of the OP?

CrAbY 06-16-2009 08:25 AM

I just told you that you began with a false assumption. You told me you worded it wrong but offered no clarification. So let me ask you again: since you have, I guess, retracted half of your claim in the OP what point are you trying to get at here?

Do you agree that sometimes people don't look further than just the common assumption of both subjects? Like they don't offer the fact that each may be true in the fullest form. They sometimes stick to just one subject and not pay attention to the other.

lucifer_sam 06-16-2009 08:41 AM

i'll take religion. science can be so ambiguous and contradictory.

CrAbY 06-16-2009 08:42 AM

So can religion.

lucifer_sam 06-16-2009 08:44 AM

i'm not following.

1. God is satisfied with his works

"God saw all that he made, and it was very good." [Gen 1:31]
God is dissatisfied with his works.

"The Lord was grieved that he had made man on earth, and his heart was filled with pain." [Gen 6:6]

Are you going to answer my question or not?
