I don't think there's some universal 'reason' or 'point' to living. I just live cause i enjoy life. I wanna be impactful on other people and do things that are good for the world.

I'm certainly not living to try and reach 'Heaven' or anything like that.

Why does there have to be a point?

The irony of your question is it's actually the religious viewpoint that rob life and death of their significance, not the irreligious viewpoint.

I feel you on this... Basically what I was trying to say too. There is no "point." Personally it just doesn't matter to me why I'm here. Or how I got here. Or where I'll end up.

It's all about the journey. Life's like a carnival ride... You just ride it out. The ride goes up and down and up and down. And the ride eventually comes to an end. Then you get off the ride and you're either like... Yo I wasted my time on that piece of **** ride. Or you say.. Damn, that ride was awesome.

I think Aethism is like conservatism in that everyone who professes it believes they do so as a minority and with a sword.

I also happen to think they haven't searched for a ****ing thing and often times don't know what they're talking about. As for the minority thing, they're evidently wrong.

Is this this sarcasm? I can't tell.

Not me but there are a few members of my family who are. I think it's ridiculous but at least they don't proselytize it like Tom Cruise does.
