That's where my ignorance on the issue comes into play. I don't know the specific restrictions. Maybe I'd agree with them anyway.

Regardless, they clearly aren't going to ban abortion.

It's already happening in loads of states, so making it federal isn't too far off, especially if an executive order comes about.

How?

Edit: i need to say Im blitzed still from the wedding this weekend I'll hit you up later.i wanna talk about this

That might be the case in the UK, and good on you guys. However, that's EXACTLY what the religious right is looking to do in the US, and they may well do it. But if they do as far as I'm concerned that becomes our fault on the left in this country for not opposing the predominantly creationist right. Understand that what it means to be conservative in the UK is a totally different game than in the US.

I have every intention of responding in depth, but that'll have to wait until tomorrow, today is all about hockey.

^of course you do.

Don don't go here with me...You don't sound sensitive to the plight of the female, you sound like you are jumping on the bandwagon of a bull**** media blitz cause. Also, until you carry a baby inside you, and have make the choice to adopt or abort you litterally know dick. Its hilarious that on this board its only the middle aged white guys that get all up in arms over the "issues".

RoxyRollah 02-21-2016 02:13 PM

 The fucking audacity to tell me about my vagina....ahaha keep telling me Im oppressed...Keep telling me about my vag...ahahaaha you dont know the first thing about it bruh.

Roxy, don't talk **** with me unless you know all of the facts. Linda and I got pregnant about a year after we first starting dating. We were doing lots of drugs at the point and decided to abort for that, and other reasons including the fact we were poorer than dirt and had no insurance. I can clearly remember cuddling the night before we drove into Boston for the procedure. We spent a couple of hours beating the **** out of ourselves for the decision. Lots of tears and feeling like complete ****.

We all come at this stuff from different areas. Let's just not make assumptions about each other.

RoxyRollah 02-21-2016 02:31 PM

Linda got pregnant. You didnt.

I'm preemptively asking you guys to keep things civil.
They still are now, but we are threading in very emotional territory here.
