Do you think the 9/11 attack in New York was an inside job?
 

Some may consider this old news, but I think not, not until all the government officials that may have been involved, including the former pres., are put on trial will it be "old news". It's quite obvious to me that it wasn't only the plane that caused the buildings to fall, but alot of people deny it. Sorry if I've offended anyone, that is not my intention

LOL. No. There's plenty of real things to hate about the Bush administration, no need to come up with wildly improbable fantasy scenarios.

I love a good conspiracy, I want to believe it was an inside job... but I just can't. It's TOO ridiculous.

Forgive me for not watching these videos because I believe if I do, I'll see it's just a one-sided story with no objective and critical reasoning but .. Could someone explain what the benefit of such an inside job would be? Like what would the reason be?

When you think about the costs on society and the risks to everyone involved in such a conspiracy, it should be a pretty ****ing good reason.

If the pay off is worth it I wouldn't put anything past any government.

first off, you realize the bulk of Jesse Ventura's career revolves around getting people to watch right? it's a whole hell of a lot easier to get people to just watch when you convince them they're being let in on a secret.

you also do remember the earlier WTC bombings that damaged the internal structure from the early 90s also right? truck bomb in 1993.

as for it being an inside job, i'll play devil's advocate for Tore since i did take that stance in the days following (but wised up shortly after). the short term benefit was an obliteration of the piss poor image Bush had in the public eye, his approval rating skyrocketed, all of a sudden he was a doe eyed good ol' boy who just watched his horse get shot, had his administration not had the equivalent ability of a recently shot horse he could have probably milked this image for the remainder of his first term and into a clear victory leading into his second. instead we got cowboy dubbya playing dress up at every opportunity.

long term benefit is that a victorious war is beneficial for the economy and that an attack on american soil would definitely guarantee popular support. only with the wisdom of his administration they declared a war on an idea instead of a clear bad guy, then advanced on two fronts, forgot it's not the 50s anymore, and just dogf*cked the bejesus out of that eagle with a tear in its eye.

I realize that war is good for the US to put it a bit simple (forgive me if I offend) and that the 9/11 attack would be a pretty good excuse and would also give political support, but .. The twin towers right at the very heart of Manhattan and the Pentagon? I don't know. Granted, the attack on Pentagon didn't affect nearly as many people, but would really anyone with a sane mind support crashing a plane into the twin towers?

I can't know for sure, but I'm just thinking that if there really was such a conspiracy, you wouldn't be able to keep a lid on it because someone who strongly objects would find out about it and everyone potentially involved would know this and as a result not do it. In the case of a conspiracy, the chain really is not stronger than it's weakest link. Even if I was a politician for such a thing, I would consider it way too risky .. I couldn't trust and rely on other people to keep such a thing secret.

So I guess my assumption is that people would basically think somwhat like me and not conspire this way because of the risk-factor. Not just to yourself, but if found out, the american people could never trust it's government again. I know that trust has been stretched, but if one did this conspiracy and got found out, that could've easily torn the nation apart completely. Was the risk of that worth the war on terror/Afghanistan?


I feel it's worth mentioning that operation Northwoods, while certainly a plan, was to my knowledge never actually set in motion. I'm sure people can think of the benefits of doing this stuff, but getting through risk assessment to actually doing I think is different.

^these are pretty much the thoughts that followed my initial reactions back in the day and why for years i've rolled my eyes at inside job theories hahaha
