If you think everybody loves Sweden, ask a Sami person. (Been to Sweden and met said persons by the way. Not a particularly pleasant history, although it is improving.)

I think you may have missed what the post was actually about.

when i was young i was so into the whole anti-authority anarchist bullskitt, but as i aged i realized its folly and now subscribe to better political agendas, like workable communism.

No thanks.

anarchy is overrated, give me Fascism anyday

The whole problem with the whole "how to you stop murderers without government?" question is that MURDER IS A FORM OF GOVERNMENT. Government is simply the act of forcibly controlling someone. It'd say ending someone else's life is pretty controlling. Anarchy isn't foolish, it's simply a pledge of "I won't oppress you, you don't oppress me."

I'm open to your opinion on the Sami issue, seeing as you are from Sweden, but would you mind explaining to me what you mean by "youre retarded?"

Okay, I probably did come off as ignorant, which I guess I kind of am. The Sami don't really have that much anger or resentment about their lack of full sovereignty as far as I saw, but it's just that I'm Native American, and **** like this just pisses me off, especially when I see it happening on the other side of the ****ing globe. I was very happy to see (and hear) the similarities between my people and the Sami people, and then it was like "wtf? There are marginalized natives in Europe?"

Anarchism is impossible and that's the bottom line. Human beings will always consolidate power, and this power will always grow. If you're an anarchist, you really ought to give socialism a better look. It might not be easy on the brain, but it is the closest society can get to being free.

The other thing you have to realize about imperialism and margianalization, is that human history is basically defined by it, and that every single culture of people, is a product of it. That definitely doesn't make it right, but it does mean that it has to be accounted for, and perhaps made the best of.

pooka 04-17-2011 04:46 PM

okay kid no problem. youre not ignorant if you admit that. peace!
