When it comes down to appearance, no, there's no preference, but culturally, I've got to be able to relate to my partner. As long as there are enough areas in which we are aligned, I don't think the rest is relevant.

No, it really says more about how their brain works than anything.

Buddhism is probably the best religion around.
But I prefer people who live entirely by their own rules .
I know that, in the end, no one does. But I usually get irritated by people who defend themselves using some religion or, in the case of buddhism, 'way of life'.

But I must admit, I'm not really familiar with all religions out there. Most people who believe in the Netherlands are into some kind of christian faith. And I like none of those...
So yeah, maybe a buddhist girl could be nice. Not sure. Wouldn't mind trying

So one religion is ok, what about a chick who was into voodoo, or wiccans, or methodists?

Wheres the line if you can tolerate one religion?

I had this conversation with a co-worker the other day, and she actually told me "I just don't think races should marry. It just causes un-necessary problems."

I hated to break it to her that it's marriage in general that causes un-necessary problems...

But honestly...this isn't the 1950's. Does inter racial marriage REALLY cause that many problems? I mean, are they problems that are any worse than the normal struggles that come with being married? Maybe I'm just naive.

Though now inter racial marriage is ok for most people, there are still cultures which don't accept it. For instance japanese people living in other countries tend to marry other japanese people, my mum is daughter of japanese and when she started dating my dad my grandparents where not happy at all. And I've got an aunt that always tells me I should date a son of japanese hahaha. And I won't just to make her angry
