Japan 8.9 Earthquake

I've seen photos of the roads, and they have cracks that go perfectly down the centre lines in the road. Is this by chance or by design? Like how the buildings are built to resist earthquakes.

Probably because when they lay down the tarmac, they don't do the whole width of the road in one go. They do one lane at a time and for that reason, there are seams in the roads that tear more easily.

Wow...I'm so glad I'm not friends with someone that posted a comment like that. I would have ripped them a new ass hole. That is some truly ignorant ****. I want to find those people on facebook and deal with them myself, actually.

Usually I'm used to dumb people, but this really made me angry.

The depth of people's stupidity never ceases to amaze me. Maybe it's a good sign these kind of comments still shock us, because in one way or another they are probably more common than we think. People still think when something horrible happens it must be a punishment for something. Then they revel in others' "punishment" like sadists, relieved it didn't happen to them. Sickening!

like the fact that the earthquake:
Destroyed more land
Took more lives
Ruined economy worse

also america already got it's revenge on japan with TWO nuclear bombs which also:

also most of the people who posted their hatred towards japan probably had no connections whatsoever to Hawaii, and if hawaii were it's own country or if it were a commonwealth like puerto rico or even just a territory they wouldn't care. Nationalism can be so stupid
