Rent-a-Country

Apparently Liechtenstein is now available for rent, and as if that wasn't strange enough, Snoop Dogg is partially responsible.

It all started last year when Snoop Dogg approached the Liechtenstein government to rent the nation (home to around 35,000 people) as a location for a music video. The deal fell through for bad timing, but the idea stuck.

Maybe they need money? Who knows. The country is probably smaller than Manhattan.

That's the funny thing, I don't think they really need the money, they have one of the highest standards of living and one of the richest heads of state in the world. And, yeah, it's a lot smaller than Manhattan. Only 35,000 people live in Liechtenstein. It's as big as a medium sized town.
