Their color is what kept them alive and only asked to leave the restaurant instead of being shot down like a dog.

i don't like the idea of normalizing people walking around with assault rifles like its cool. maybe i am just a naive liberal but that sounds like a recipe for disaster to me.

notice any difference in the way police respond in the two videos?

Why open carry? Like what does that contribute to society? Seems moronic to me.

It excersises your freedoms and allows you to show off your toys to strangers.

Guybrush 08-17-2014 05:37 AM

I don't think a right to carry around guns in the open is an important freedom to have in society and I think consequences for society as a whole would be better if that freedom was removed. It just seems bat**** crazy to me that anyone would think otherwise.

I've lived in a place where people, myself included, walked around with guns so I'm no stranger to them. We were required to keep them under wraps or shown to be harmless; like if I didn't have my gun bag, I would at least take the bolt out of my bolt-action rifle and hang it on my back. Ammunition was typically kept in a rucksack and if you went into a store or something, you'd leave it all in a locker. The idea of walking around with them open like that is repulsive to me - and it's not even hunting weapons. The guns in those pictures/videos are guns made for use against people. What sort of message does that send? Abominable.

That's pretty insane. In the first video they had 10 squad cars pull up, half of them after he was already on the ground and not holding the weapon.

PierceMusic 08-17-2014 10:48 PM

Yeah, then the videos get taken down because of the brutality...

Soulflower 08-19-2014 06:29 PM

F^%# the police

They abuse their superiority and have been targeting African American males for years.
