Whoops, I misread that source and I'm not even sure where I got that number from. It's out of 990, but black deaths at the hands of police officers are still a good 10% higher than their population segment. The white and the hispanic population (though there is potentially some differences between the self reported versus what the pathologist determines when it comes to hispanics) are on the same level as their population percentage. Still an alarming disparity.

It's called solidarity. People around the world join in when there are tragedies. When the I am charlie thing happened in Paris. People in NYC held vigils for it. Hilarious from the number one sheeple alive. You know there are more whites and hispanics in this country than there are blacks right? So percentage-wise it is still a big deal. Also why can't the both be addressed? Why do you need to separate the two. Too hard to address all issues as once?

Yeah, but theirs a pretty big difference when having a vigil vs having a protest. I'm all for solodarity, but protesting something that has nothing to do with the country your in is just dumb.
