Health and safety issues are almost at ridiculous levels in the UK thanks to government legislation especially over the last decade, storing litres of petrol at home seems like a serious breach of the UK's health and safety agenda.

And of course the other issue is that with all the people panic buying, emergency services are going to be put in danger because they have restricted access to fuel.
This is clearly going to have awful consequences, possibly even for those who bought extra fuel - if there's a fire because of the hazard of storing it, fire engines may not be able to even get there.
