People will wait in line 2 hours to ride a roller coaster, but can't stomach twenty minutes to perform their civic duties? Bizarre.

The point is that it is not enjoyable

So what? It's not supposed to fun it's supposed to be serious and important. If you want to be able to make a better America through electing the right candidate then the sacrifice has to be made. You only need to do it once every 4 years.

I dont see the big fuss of finding waiting in line to suck

and I dont see why there cant be a better way to vote that is less aggravating and time consuming

and whether or not it is serious or not, it still doesnt make the job any more enjoyable to wait in line to vote

I'm not saying you should or shouldn't vote, its everyone's right, but I dont see why one cant find it time consuming and sucky in their opinion

Actually if you really want to make a difference, you should be doing it every year. Not just for presidential elections.

You sound like one of those people who complain for the sake of complaining. They are talking about online electronic voting systems but it's really easy to intercept and hack into them. So unless you've got some better idea, find a bridge and get over it. Don't vote if your that 'bored' by waiting in line.

Ye gods, can't the guy have an opinion? All he said is that he finds long lines annoying. That was it. We don't need two pages of "counterarguments" to his "argument." And right now, everyone ELSE seems like they're complaining for the sake of complaining. Who cares if he thinks long voting lines are annoying. It's his opinion, and an incredibly harmless one, at that.

I am actually over it

I was simply replying to yall because you were replying to me concerning waiting in line and you still have not convinced me that waiting in line does not suck

I also do not see anything wrong with continually improving systems so it is faster and more accurate, especially for the people who would like to go out to vote and wait in line

Nothing wrong with making their experience more enjoyable and it would improve turnout for voting because the population of the US is 330 Million approximately and only about 120 million came out to vote

I am not sure of the adult population of the whole population but they could vastly improve voting if they made the event much more enjoyable

Besides, you can vote by mail now, and that option was made for people who dont like waiting in line like me

Sorry that I'm laughing but your reaction is intense. I just think if all your only problem was how long you had to wait in line to vote it would be an amazing life.

JustJunMC 11-15-2012 12:14 AM

I dont know why yall was trippin. I simply stated it sucks to wait in line. I only vote when I feel like it. If I do, it is by mail.

Why not just use an absentee ballot?
