Default Boston Bomber On The Rolling Stone Cover

I think the picture may have been used to show how a supposedly normal looking guy became the number one wanted suspect in all of America. I think a split screen of the cover pic and the shot of him with no shirt on cover in blood while handcuffed would have told a better story. The before and after so to speak. In the long run if Rolling Stone's intention was to get the general public's attention I believe that they have succeeded. I myself will be holding a small protest by not purchasing the magazine and opting to read it's content at my local library.

that's like half -assed boycotting. you are still consuming the content that they want even if you are doing it for free. why not avoid the issue all together?

I think it's inappropriate. Why glorify a terrorist or terrorism in general by featuring them on the front cover? I don't think I will even read the article.

Its like rewarding a terrorist with celebrity treatment. Music and terrorism does not mix.

I beg to differ.

I knew that statement would be challenged while I was typing it, but I don't actually think it is all that popular here in the states. Or is it? I wouldn't know much about that one.

I live in California and am a self proclaimed sound terrorist. I'd say it's rampant here in the US.
