HUGE piece of Meteor believed to be found in Russian lake

To those who are interested in the discovery of the origins of our universe, this is a very important development

The meteor entered our atmosphere, exploded and crashed in eastern Russia in February, they dredged up this piece yesterday

I thought a few chunks of that particular meteor made landfall and were already recovered, or did it all burn up during entry?

Ahh, I see. Don't quite understand how a larger piece can tell them anything a smaller fragment can't, but then I'm not a scientist. Good news anyway, I love astronomy and the search for fundamental knowledge. Not sure mankind is really equipped with the senses to get to the truth, to glimpse the ultimate reality, or gain genuine knowledge, but it's a fascinating and worthwhile quest nonetheless.
