Blackfish
I watched the CNN documentary last night Blackfish on TV, concerning the Orca (Killer whales kept in captivity) and I was appalled by the cruelty and inhumane treatment of these majestic animals. I hope this post at least makes some of us aware of these atrocities committed by SeaWorld and other wild animal related Water Resorts against one of our worlds greatest wonders of creation.

Dude I cried... after I saw this movie..
|
A whale is not a fish, damnit.
|
This is true...Also I have always wondered, why they dont well "set" Tilikum free to ocean in the sky.Dont get me wrong Orcas are incredible animals..But this one is a serial killer...
Straight up...If I killed 4 ppl this state would burn me...Am I not an apex predator too? And for those who have not seen it, its on my top ten documentaries list.. |
Sea World got destroyed by this film and good riddance. The film showed what a disgusting thing it is to keep those animals in captivity. It's worse than hunting them for food in my opinion.

Who eats Orca?

I dont know that I would want to sit down to a steamy plate of orca...
sounds fatty... |
You probably eat Orca and don't even realize. They get caught up by the tuna fishers and minced into tuna and you swallow that bad boy down.

I watched this awhile ago on Netflix and it is so sad :(. I really like SeaWorld too but not I can't bring myself to go ever again. I saw sum thing online that said they had Seaworld employees spamming some newspaper poll about the documentary, too. It just seems like that is such a bad place.
Poor whales :( |
There's a reason we kill whales.
http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6oTaiOhfGH...0/dolphins.png But to be serious, I have not seen the documentary. I just always assume someone somewhere is torturing an animal. It sucks, but not much we can do. |
