Multiple dead from drunk driver at SXSW
 

SXSW (South by Southwest) is a music festival in Austin, Texas. The suspect was drunk and driving, bailed on a DUI checkpoint, drove the wrong direction down a street taking a few people down and then mowed down about 23 people who were waiting to get into the festival. Three were killed, many were injured.

Hearts out the victims and their families. This is a music site, I'm sure someone was there or knew someone who went. Hoping everyone is okay.

Scrap the drink drive 'limit', zero tolerance ffs. & dish out harsher penalties for those caught.

All it takes is one drink to affect a person's judgement. Anyone who says otherwise is just trying to be cool and boast about their tolerance, like anyone gives a fvck. **** like this pisses me off. If you're gonna drink and be reckless, whatever. But don't ever put other people in danger. Absolutely agree, drunk driving laws are ridiculous. IMO, the crime is as bad as rape or murder and should be treated as such.
