The US/UK played no part in the two Iraqi wars? No part in Afghanistan? No part in Libya? Played no part orchestrating the destabilisation of Iran in 1953, organising the coup, overthrowing the democratically elected Iranian prime minister Mohammad Mosaddegh and installating the puppet dictator Mohammad Reza Pahlavi? I guess they aren't interested in the middle eastern/Persian oil reserves either?

If our governments were serious about stopping terrorism, they'd stop all that sh*t. But putting the money that comes from robbing foreign nations aside, I suspect terrorists have serendipitous value to our governments because they serve as sugar-coated excuses to steal more of our liberties.

I didn't watch the videos, I trust that sensationalism would be made of a couple cases: people love to hate this kind of protocol.

I think TSA is a pain in the ass, and I've heard (but didn't know) that they've never prevented a single attack. Of course, it's hard to know whether or not they've actually prevented an attack if the prevention was discouragement via the existence of TSA protocol in the first place.

I had no idea what to think about them as I haven't personally experienced it so it's nice that you guys have explained your thoughts.

I remember hearing everyone complain about the TSA awhile ago, but lately everyone seems to have moved on to new scandals and outrages. Are they still as rigid as they used to be? Have they changed at all (for better or worse)? Anyway, sorry for bumping an old thread!

Doesn't bother me: I got to see Vanilla's sexy new avatar, and that's surely a good thing.
