Hypothetical: If the Nazis Were Right Would You Agree with Some Form of the Holocaust
 

Just a thought experiment. From what I'm given to understand, the Nazis believed in a sort of collective subconscious where everything that made up the best qualities of the German people, basically the archetype of the perfect German, was passed along through the blood by means of metaphysical whojimawhatsis. Let's just pretend that that isn't nonsense. And let's also pretend that other races interbreeding with the German race, or any other race as I'm assuming that they would all have similar whojimawhatsis, dilutes its racial makeup thereby weaking the race as a whole (whatever that means). Would that justify the Holocaust, or at least some variation of it, like the ghettos for instance? If not, what would be your solution to the "problem"?

I can't really imagine a scenario in which genocide and intentional human suffering are justifiable. I mean, I go through days where the misanthrope-o-meter is off the charts but I still wouldn't wish that kinda **** on anyone.

Well you see that's the point. When someone abhorrent is full of **** it's easy to be against what they're for, but if they're right then you have to deal with a serious moral question. If the Nazis were right it would then mean that you would have to decide if human rights were more important than the well being of the human race.

That's an impossible if to overcome. It's demonstrably wrong.

Well let's just assume that if you chose that path that... alright not being a Nazi whack job I'm not entirely sure what the consequences would be, but let's assume for the sake of argument that they would involve moral degradation of society that would be even more far reaching and destructive than the Holocaust itself. And keep in mind that if you don't agree to genocide then you can always come up with a more... "humane" solution. It doesn't have to be a straight yes or no answer... which I suppose I should have accounted for in the poll.

If a mod reads this, is it possible to add a poll option that reads, "Yes, but not genocide."
