Earth day is pretty legitimate.
As for the topic of the thread. I gave up meat for lent and it's been so easy that I am seriously considering not going back. Meat's expensive and too much is unhealthy, now I'm realising just how great vegetables can be when cooked properly with the right seasoning.

Why you want me to eat veggies in the dark? :(

Earth Hour, not Earth Day. and you dont have to eat veggies, you can eat pizza if you like(as long if it doesnt have meat). u like seafood too, right?

I've not eaten meat for ten days (with the exception of fish and gelatin). Take that, No Meat Monday suckers.

Not to sound too much like Wikibear, but I did a quick check on Wikipedia and the first Earth day held in Philadelphia was hosted by the "the Unicorn Killer."

The event was hosted by environmentalist Ira Einhorn.
