2016 Presidential Race Thread

Bernie Sanders is jumping into the ring. :tramp:

Not sure he can raise enough money to sustain a campaign but he's gonna make things mighty interesting while he's around.

I'm not sure who the Republican nominee will be. All of them strike me as completely implausible, but somebody's gotta win, right? Looks pretty likely that Hillary wins pretty easily in the general regardless of Republican nominee though.

Michelle Obama 2016

I work with an idiot who honestly believes the democratic party has been secretly priming Michelle to become president.

Meh. Republicans don't really have a focal point of national disdain right now, whereas the right despises Obama, the middle is dubious of him, and the left don't really like him any more than any other generic liberal politician. He might not be up for reelection, but his presence in the nation's mind is still going to affect how we view any Democrat.

And like I said before, nobody really likes Hillary. She's uninspiring to Democrats, and Republicans want her head on a pike. She'll only win if she has a challenger as vanilla as her.

Chula, these are touchy times, you should know better than to make a thread about Race!
