Both of my sisters are deadly afraid of flying so much so that when they came out here to visit (Boston to San Diego) they took a train.
Wonder how they feel about this. Ya, dude's lawyer is saying the driver "doesn't remember" what happened. His ass is gonna get nailed when all is said and done.

Looking at the remains of the wreckage, its amazing only 7 people lost their lives. That was a rather hideous looking remains of a train. There is no excuse for the speed he was travelling having driven that route before. Hes going away for sure.

Maybe he dozed off? According to reports the train was accelerating right before the accident. If he'd been fully aware you'd figure he'd have been decelerating knowing he was coming up on that curve.
