The President Obama thread

He was the first black president.

Now he's also the first Nobel Peace Price winner to bomb another Nobel Peace Price winner (MSF).

What do you think? Is President Obama doing a good job or not?

Probably. The media tends to focus on the bad stuff, because that's what sells. That especially applies to the independent newspapers, as many of them have fed-up and system-critical target audiences. And as the current most famous/notorious/loved/hated/important man on earth, Obama is not exactly safe from blows by the media.

One thing I will mention though is his current attitude towards Congress would have been way better if he had his "we need to get this **** done" approach when he started his presidency as opposed to now getting that attitude near the end of his presidency. More could have gotten done.

I think he wanted to wait until after reelection to do what he's been doing. Once he knew he didn't have to win the public over anymore, he started having some balls.

What future news? He's an ex-president. They never do anything important.
