summary: teenage girls (typically runaways/etc) in japan dress up as 'schoolgirls' and are paid to interact in various ways with a stream of clients who are seemingly all non-pussy-getting men.... in some cases the schoolgirl is a literal prostitute and in others the guy is just paying to have a cup of tea with her and chat while she's still in character (****in freaks in japan :laughing:)


summary: basically japan is collectively shell shocked as a nation from getting nuked twice once upon a time due to their military adventures back in the 30's and 40's... and in the aftermath the state is not only formally restricted in terms of what kind of military they can have, but also the mentality of the vast majority of the populace is one of pure pacifism and anti anything war. which sounds noble and sweet but turns out to be irrational and unrealistic. so after 2 japanese men are killed in the middle east by the islamic state there are people rallying both for and against the re-militarization of japan. to me it's like a rare instance where the far right nationalist group that is trying to save their country from liberal delusion are actually right, in terms of policy. it's ****ing insane to be as rich and powerful as japan is and not have a proper military.
