A place for all things related to this years holiday.

Last years thread turned into a drunken mess, so let's see if we can top that. So far, I've gotten zero shopping done, and I'm already counting down the days until New Years, which for me isn't a celebration of the coming new year, but a celebration that the holidays are finally over and I can resume a normal stress-reduced life. I hate shopping. Period. So, this time of year is especially annoying, and people expect me to go out into this lunacy and buy them things? Not bloody likely. Even shopping on-line can be somewhat of a stressful environment. Key Loggers and Spyware. For those of you not familiar with those terms, go ahead and do a little research into it.

So anyway, I know this is a bit late to the party, but it's still very relevant to the current shopping season, and even though it's done tongue-in-cheek it's quite accurate. Also, I believe I've found a new spirit guide in Roger (not that I've ever had one). Roger knows whats up:

But it's not all gloom and doom, and a big ole bah fucking humbug to your face. I found this piece of nostalgia quite entertaining. Not for the actual music, but for the underlying tones of antagonistic one-uppedness, alcoholism, and segregation.

I hope Leon got paid well.

Happy Christmas.

I can't afford presents this year so everyone will just be getting my autograph.

Hey, I love christmas and jolly and all that festive ****.
I just don't care for presents.

My mom, dad and sisters birthdays all fall between 5th December and 5th January, if there is one thing I hate about Christmas it's the expectation to spend. I would gladly never receive another present again if it meant I didn't have to buy one. ****ing hate it every year.

Other than that I like Christmas.

Me too. I have 4 B-Days to deal with all between Dec 12th and Jan 11th. People should stop having unprotected sex around March/April.

Hey, that's not so bad. In ten years time that could be worth, you know, nothing at all... :finger:

Not much shopping for me to do. Two brothers who don't give a **** and aren't given a **** about, a sister who has already agreed we get each other gift tokens, a few bottles of wine to distribute among the neighbours, a pink cigarette lighter with her name on for my hot new neighbour, new TV for my sis (already bought) and a few cards, turkey etc and I'm done.

Not a big fan of Christmas. Plus you just know ISIS are planning something special...
