This place is toxic. It's just the way it is. I learned this last week. Anyway, there are some members who aren't filled with sarcasm/hate/insecurity. Just ignore the people who bother you.

Sarcasm is exactly the same thing as hate and insecurity.

Do you sometimes put your dinner in the freezer to see it it will cook faster there than it would in the oven?

So to summarize:
  • The Earth is flat and Antarctica is an ice wall.
  • The Sun and Moon are equal size.
  • The whole thing is a giant clock built by... someone.
  • There's no such thing as gravity but there's such a thing as anti-gravity.
  • There's a vast 60+ year conspiracy between the nations and corporations of the world involving lying to us about how satellites work and... something about Antarctica.
  • All space research and exploration is fake.
  • All photos of Earth are fake.
  • All scientific research is fake.
  • YouTube is the only real source of information.
  • Out of all the millions of people who would have to be involved to pull of such a vast hoax, no one has ever spilled the beans.
  • Their reasons for doing this and incentive for keeping it under wraps are... something.
Totally makes sense.
"bruh" is something i say sarcastically, in the sense that bro culture is weird and funny to me, but in a friendly manner. I didn't mean to offend. I apologize. I am not, by default, adversarial toward people who believe the Earth is a ball. I believed it too.

You seem sort of bent on offending. I should have less faith in people than I do. This group reaction could have been predicted on MB.

I will get to how incorrect your summative bullet list is later. I really do have to go to bed.

I think I'm just gonna delete my account actually. I know what's good for me and this place definitely isn't it.

I'd recommend a sense of humour in place of that, but it's your move bruh.

If you're not happy, yes, you should step away.

Oh I have a sense of humour. It's a pretty good one. I laugh at myself quite a bit for thinking the Earth is flat. So do my friends. It's a good time. But, as I mentioned in the OP, civilized discourse is the path of least resistance with a topic like this. And I'm just too OCD to not try to reply to everyone in a thorough manner, so when I'm bombarded by a bunch of inane comments I just feel the innate negativity of it, and it makes me want to scream. I honestly have no idea why I chose to come back to this site. It's like a vampire who doesn't even f*ck you first.

Anyway, I just tried to delete my account, and I don't know how to do it. Anyone feel like pointing me in the right direction?
