There are differences, yes. For instance, OJ was a black man, Hillary is a white woman.

However, both committed the crimes in question, and they were absolved of those crimes by legal institutions.

There was no crime in Clinton's case.

Yes there was, it was a textbook case of gross negligence. Just because the FBI said it's not does not make it so, which is what I've been getting at for a while now.

What specifically about the case do you think supports the FBI's stance?

Actually, legally it does make it so.

The fact that it was investigated by people who are actual subject matter experts, which I am not. As far as I can see there's no reason to doubt their conclusion.

What specifically makes you think it's a "textbook case of gross negligence"?

Speaking from a perspective of facts, the FBI's ruling does not change anything.

Gross negligence
Quote:

carelessness in reckless disregard for the safety or lives of others, which is so great it appears to be a conscious violation of other people's rights to safety. If one has borrowed or contracted to take care of another's property, then gross negligence is the failure to actively take the care one would of his/her own property. If gross negligence is found by the trier of fact (judge or jury), it can result in the award of punitive damages on top of general and special damages.
Threatening national security threatens the safety of Americans and the fact that she used a private email server suggests that she was conscious of what she was doing.

Speaking from a perspective of facts, it's not a ruling since it didn't come a judge.

Why do you feel that the Frownland Google Search Taskforce investigation into this matter is more credible than the FBI?

Frownland 09-12-2016 12:49 PM

I trust myself.

Could someone please explain briefly what's appealing about Gary Johnson? What is he going to do for American workers?

Goofle 09-25-2016 09:04 AM

There's not much appealing about him as a candidate, more the principles of the party he's representing. Smaller government, less regulation, free markets, non-intervention etc. I think the ones who support him or believe in Libertarian values aren't looking for the government to help American workers all that much in the first place.

Isbjørn 09-25-2016 09:21 AM

Less regulation and "freer" markets may be good for corporations and the few people who own them, but will just make the lives of American workers more insecure, especially the poorer ones. The solution isn't "smaller" government, nor is it "bigger" government. The solution is democracy in all spheres of society, including the economy, and a government that truly represents the interests of the majority, i.e. the working class. Gary Johnson may be an interesting phenomenon in that he's a third party candidate, but I see no reason to vote for him rather than, say, Jill Stein.
