So, Canada is going full cultural marxist.

I was thinking of Bill C-28 which is our anti-spam law and was confused as to why it needs it's own thread.

I planned on living in Canada for the rest of my life, but idk where we're going from here. The next election will certainly be interesting considering Justin Trudeau's landslide victory was in large part due to everyone's distaste for Harper.

Yeah, i think you told me that. I have no issues with it, I can't imagine identifying entirely with one specific belief system but for those who can, more power to em.

What do you mean by entirely one specific belief system?

I've never met someone or read someone's work that I could agree with in its entirety enough to call myself a follower or student of it. Whereas obviously Olivia or my prof agree with the theories enough to call themselves Marxists and are buying into the overarching ideology. Also there's a lot of vital flaws in his theory anyway.

So...what's the big deal about this bill? Is it another imaginary demon issue like C16?

Ah. I kinda agree. I could see ideas from marxism and the good parts of capitalism existing side by side. Guess that's socialism though right? Well actually I think that's what Olivia is anyways. Can't remember what camp she said she was in.
