Could you arrange it where a friend would go with you. Maybe having someone with you will provide you with that little extra thing you might need at that time - a distraction, motivation, companionship.

I'm a believer you can't really do more that one or two things in a day, whatever it is. So don't feel bad if you skip one of them.

Thanks, Nea, that's good advice. Sometimes it really is enough just to have someone by your side and making sure you get where you need to go.

I ended up taking Plank's advice and forcing myself to take a quick walk even though I didn't want to. My therapist talks a lot about doing "the next best thing" when you find yourself in moods like this - for example she would say if I really couldn't go on a walk then maybe the next best thing is just sitting out on the porch. Anyway the walk was enough to get me going and in the end I did make the rest of my appointments today. And the one I cancelled I was able to reschedule for tomorrow!

The sexual side effects of fluoxetine bother me sometimes, I know it's worth putting up with it because I'm in a better place now than I was before I began the medication but it's frustrating.

I've been feeling rather good lately! My year has been rough so it's cool to see things come into place again. I'm been feeling very euphoric about my gender lately which has been cool and led to happiness in other aspects of my life. Everyone should attempt to explore gender sometime, it really is a liberating experience. There's no losses either as then you have a better empathy for the trans community.
