Basically told him that I'm available for him any time of day no matter the issue, to quit drinking (rich coming from me, but he's the wake up and hit the bottle type of guy), to turn this situation into a rock bottom that he can bounce back from before he gets lower and use that rock bottom as a source of inspiration, to think about how to solve the problem instead of thinking about how hard he has it because he's already there, and to ask for help when he needs it (he said he felt guilty asking for help). Really worried about him tbh.

Not drinking is paramount. Alcohol abuse and suicide are peas and carrots.

Also, fighting to maintain your sobriety improves your sense of self worth which decreases the likelihood of intentional self harm.

How's it going Frown?

My advice is to follow up with him, reach out and check how hes doing. When you feel like a burden to everyone it's nearly impossible to ask for help when you need it, you can help ease that feeling by being proactive and showing him that you really are there for him and really do care, you're not just answering his calls because you feel obligated to. Idk any words that can help, so I look to practical actions you may take.

Damn

Readjusting to your meds once you get back on can be bad too

I’m sorry wolf

And changing the name to mental health is a great idea

Again it just breaks my heart you had to go off your meds

America sucks

Any idea when you can get some medication again? Appalling to be in that situation.

Should be able to get them first thing tomorrow morning. I've had this happen before though and, to be fair, I could have been more proactive and prevented it altogether. So it goes.
