This sounds like a plan in a really good direction, Mindful. And congratulations on already making it this far with only two classes to go. You're a lovely person and I wish you all the best.

ftr

I think finishing any degree with only two classes to go is a no brainer

Idk anything about the machinist stuff but when you were posting about it that seemed like a really good marketable skill that fills a need that isn’t going anywhere.

That said obviously I don’t have any knowledge of your personal reasons or the ends and out of it maybe it’s something you can keep on the back burner like I said idk

Definitely wish you the best of luck wherever you apply yourself

**** yeah mindy, I'm going back to school too! For me, sometimes I have to let myself take only one class per semester to avoid burnout. Idk the circumstances of you withdrawing from the university but I'm sure you'll be accepted and be able to carry on from there. Which GE classes do you have left to finish?

You created a pro-Biden thread. It's too late for you.

This is definitely a great way to go, and I think a lot of people that didn't otherwise finish college would be able to if they took this route

There's such a weird social pressure to finish in 4 years, like it's what the "successful" people do. I managed to do it in 4.5 years, I had to take some summer courses to bring my grade up in courses I failed. But when I got out of college it felt like all of that stress and effort to finish in 4 was ****ing pointless because I had no idea what to do next, so I just became a waiter and messed around for a few years before finding the right path for me

Good luck in whatever you decide to do next Mindful, the fact that you've gotten this far is a great achievement already so keep your head up

It’s because the lexapro makes me want to see something work

I don’t want to stay in my black hole of brutal pessimism

That **** is ****ing painful

I can still oppose capitalism in general without being constantly borderline homicidal about **** I can’t even change
