What in the name of Stan are you drivelling about, seriously? Aribitrary vendettas? First of all, as you well know, it's very unlikely that a vendetta will be arbitrary: for someone to swear revenge on someone else they have to have done something to them. Second, where is/are the arbitrary vendetta(s)? Are you intimating that mods banned anyone because of personal bias? You know that permabans are the nuclear option, the final solution, and I'm sure no mod wants to do this unless they have no choice at all. These things are surely not enacted lightly, nor without due and repeated warnings.

What evidence is there that they have/will? Every time JWB pops back in another sockpuppet account he's just the same. Funny, yes, that's undoubted, but zero respect for the rules or for the mods. Where's the possibility or likelihood of change there? Sansa I don't know about as thankfully I have had no contact with her in years.

Who does? I don't. I see maybe a handful of people saying "yeah why not" and you going all ape**** to have them back. That's not the community, my friend. That's a select few.

Batty's a different case and you know it. Despite being a lazy ****er, he's contributed more to the overall mood and atmosphere of the forum than a lot of other people, even if he doesn't go all out making threads and forming clubs that he actually makes sure work like I do. Everyone knew he knew he had overstepped, and he's well liked here. Plus I think he bribed or had dirt on everyone, so we had to get him back. Batty's one of us; as someone once kindly said of me, he's a cu nt, but he's our c unt. Compare how much Batty has contributed over the years to that of JWB and Sansa, cos let's be honest, they're the only two you're really asking about, aren't they? |
