Why do you care about the election?

In 2016 Trump has received about 2.9 Million voices less than Hillary Clinton.

There is no democracy in the world where such a candidate would have become president. So you already live with the wrong president since four years.

So it actually doesn't matter who becomes president. A nation which accepts such an irrational voting system shouldn't complain about fraud.

Oh come on, there is clearly a difference between someone honestly elected in a retarded system (let's pretend US elections are honest for the sake of argument), and someone who is elected by fraud.

Care to offer us Americans your take on why the electoral college is irrational and fraudulent?

It pretty much nullifies the concept of one vote per person.

I think that's somewhat of a simplification, it essentially means votes from different states are weighted differently.

lol @ “honestly”

I get what you’re saying but on the real: **** people who win elections. It’s one of the worst reasons to assign someone power that I can think of. Most popular? Among people? That’s stupid af.

Which nullifies one vote per person. That’s just a fact.

What would a better alternative be? Royal monarchy?

Trial by combat would be cool.

Well, modern gladiator fights certainly would do a lot to cool OH's malthusian fears of exponentiality.
