If that is some kind of iconic line, I'm afraid it must've sunk on it's way across the Atlantic.:(
Don't worry about it. It's a terrible Christmas movie that gets marathoned every Christmas cause the TV station that plays it owns the rights so they don't have to pay to play it, and eventually all the Gen X kids who grew up when it started getting shown developed Stockholm syndrome cause they saw it so much at an impressionable age and now they think it's a classic. If I have to listen one more time to my dip**** uncle describe the same unfunny scenes and then cackle, I am going to throw him down the stairs.
This is literally the most "iconic" scene from the movie. Please try not to wake your neighbors laughing too hard.

I put on the 24 hr marathon of it when it comes on TBS every year, and I'll do it again this year, Scut.
I don't care if they let you have a gun but you shouldn't be allowed to own a television.

I always figured you hated Christmas but I didn't realize the extent of your hatred for this movie. Seems like a strange thing to fixate on. I admire the passion though.

I'm fine with Christmas. It's okay. Whatever. If I liked my family more I'd probably have a rather positive view of it. This movie is just awful and since there's nothing on on Christmas and my grandparents don't have Netflix it inevitably gets thrown on while the family is gathered there and either I'm the only one with taste or we're all just too polite to tell the idiots to turn the ****ing channel already.

I am pretty indifferent for the most part but I like Christmas more than most holidays, if I'm with my family for whatever reason. Usually I'm alone and don't even notice it's Christmas though.

Did you guys ever hear that coca cola invented the modern image of Santa Claus? Turns out it's not true. They just murdered a bunch of south Americans instead.

I like it for it's nostalgia, even though I didn't grow up in that era. My favorite part is the end... (I could just end it here, but...) where they watch the snow falling. They could just leave that scene play for the entire movie and I'd be ok with it.
I'm with ya on the not being allowed to own a tv. Full send.
