People more at risk for a heart inflammation are boys/men aged 12-24 as far as I understand. You fall in this group?

Also, an importaint note, inflammation of the heart is treatable. As far as I know, there are no reported deaths related with this condition and the vaccine. If you happen to get it, which is very rare, you can be treated and get healthy. Obviously the same can't be said about a chronic case of Covid.

Just my 2 cents. :/

That's fair. I'm in the next bracket up (the 25-39 one) and was told by my doctor that the rates are similar to the 18-24 group according to VAERS. My risk is possibly worse (according to her) because of my medical history, but from what I understand the people who have been seeing those symptoms didn't have any underlying conditions for the most part.

Unless I already had Covid without realizing it, I'm going to have to probably get something before September one way or the other, since I don't want to get barricaded in a hotel for 14 days when I visit the U.K. That's enough motivation for me lol.

The thing is that vaccinated people also seem to be much less or even not at all at risk of passing it on. Therefore one not getting vaccinated could rather directly lead to lots of other people being very sick or dying. Considering that, I don't even know why bother with all the theoretical kantian categorical imperative or whatnot bull**** in this discussion.
