Popular music instead of classical :)

I didn't even know they had degrees in such a thing. I've only taken the course on pop music as part of my program. I'm in music education now but yeah, the main focus of study is classical and opera, and some musical theatre.

I'm gonna have to agree with this, I also want to say that those of you wankbags who are bullying him must feel like real badasses, shit talking someone who is autistic. What a bunch of douchelords.

FPK - a clarification
 

When FPK made this gratuitous comment, a handful of posters (myself included) pointed out that, if anything, they had heard more than enough about the musicians Franco and Pepe Kalle:-

In a flurry of pro- and contra-FPK posts, it became clear that FPK wasn´t really debating or defending his original comment, and so this thread thankfully moved on to other things.

Occassionally, something of value turns up in the most unappealing of places and here, buried under a pile of invective, is a piece of pertinent information. That FPK is autistic is certainly news to me, as it may well be for other posters. If that´s the case, I suspect that we´re all happy to cut him some slack.

Thank you, Herm. Someone really needed to put that out there. It's actually quite disheartening for me to watch someone who has a serious development disorder being trashed because of the way he communicates.

Well i havnt been here long but iv been readin and typing in some threads and think i may enjoy the community here! minus all you nut cases lol :P

Gotta agree with Hermione et al. Very disturbing stuff on this site at times from the apparent "sensible" ones.

It's all very well members on here defending him because of his autistic nature and his social difficulties, and in turn cutting him some slack because of this condition. But ever since he's been a member on here, he's been extremely consistent at getting on people's nerves and if he's rational enough to do this, then he's rational enough to know what he's doing. As it's not like he's randomly stating opinions either, he has a clear line on what he's doing and keeps on doing it because he knows he'll get a reaction.

Autistic people have social issues in society, but internet contact on a forum doesn't hold the same social value, as physically being face to face with somebody. For that reason alone, I personally think FPK is fully aware of what he's upto and plays the autisitic card to defend himself.

This. Autism is an extremely varied condition and comes in many forms which doesn't necessarily need to be a social problem. I never knew he was autistic and my opinion of him doesn't change.


He's annoying as ****, autistic or not.

Maybe he's normal in society (hard to believe I know but possible) and just becomes autistic on music banter.
