I've always told you should be afraid to be yourself, you're not alone here clearly. Don't let the Sorting Hat tell you what House you belong in, that's for you yourself to determine. You're the best mod here imo.

I would personally put you down as a "hat stall" because special people are always hatstalls, we just only see Harry's POV. McGonagall was a hatstall, so was Hermione. They both just chose to be in Gryffindor. I don't blame them since Gryffindor is a really great house but often they can let their hot heads dominate their good hearts. I have both a hot head and a good heart, but I value my intelligence most, even though I value kindness above all things in others.

You can try on Pottermore, that's the official "test", JK Rowling herself was apparently a Hufflepuff. That's not a bad house though, Hufflepuffs unify everyone and they are loyal and good.
