I am afraid, we will lose posters like James because of this. See everybody missed Jame's guts, because the newbies were to busy blowing each other. And the sad thing about that is, y'all just met each other, and nobody has bought anybody a proverbial drink yet,so learn how to use your ****in pm box and blow each other that way.

This thread is called Spill Your Guts, not Spill Your First Impressions Of People.

I waited damn near a ****in year to post in this thread, because I ****in knew I wasn't qualified, to have an opinion on people.

Because people are so desperate to be excepted, and desperate to be liked, and adored, or whatever the **** it is they are after, the forum will end up losing the joy of having quality posts from people like James and Manky. I dunno why you people left what ever **** show forum you were at before you came here, but you are ****in cluttering up MB.

Stick a sock in it for a month or two, and actually learn what this place is like, then come comment.

I'd like to encourage all the newbies to come here and post about your thoughts. Why should anyone not be included in everything the site has to offer. I always liked that about this site, how inclusive it could be.

As someone who has been here...what, 6 years now?...I'm actually surprised just how antsy people are that they aren't a part of some imagined larger "conversation" that's going on here on MB. Its all well and good to want to make friends and all that, but don't misunderstand: the purpose of this forum isn't to recreate the Grammys and pat eachother on the back all the time like the world isn't falling down around your ears: your here to talk about music and, hopefully, broaden your horizons a bit. If you get more out of it than that, awesome...but if you don't care about that stuff, why not just stay in the Lounge and post dumb .gifs all day or go spam up people's feeds on Facebook, Twitter, etc?

In my case, I love writing and sharing new things with others, so that's what I spend the majority of my time doing when I do come on here. To all you newbies out there: find your niches and contribute. Beyond that, does anyone seriously have expectations of others on this forum? That's just nuts.

In my opinion if you're here then your main priority should be to talk and learn about music. Sure, be nice to people, but if all you're posting is endless niceties then you're hardly making a worthwhile contribution and you'd probably be suited to a different website. Here, post about stuff you like without giving a sh*t whether anyone likes you for it or not.

I'm going to go ahead and continue to post whatever the fuck I feel like posting. I came here for the music, what I got was music and a few really great friendships. If I feel like expressing your value to me or my admiration of you I'm going to, regardless of whether it's perceived as niceties or otherwise.

I can dig that mentality of not giving a ****. But the post needs to be ****in relevant.

I get you because I feel the same way. Some of these people have become a very real part of my life. And I care for them immensely.

Yes I'm new, and yes I talk a lot - I'm very impulsive, and if one answers to something I say, I'd find it rude not to give a response back. And yes, I blabber out a lot of my thoughts, cuz I can't keep them in. I feel like discussing about every single detail that's going on in this world. I can only be who I am, and as I simply can't change my posting behaviour fast enough, I think this is the end.
I feel like it's best for me to just leave this forum, as I am certainly not welcome. I really thank you guys for this week here. It's been cool.
