I've been there buddy! When I was a mod I did it more than once too...

I've done that twice. Once in the "Reason for deletion" section which only mods see, and once on the ban reason form.

If it's stupid, I've done it.

*edited to add: except that. I was a super-mod on a vBulletin forum a few years back, and I never made that particular mistake

I've never done that thankfully I just click on the box and my drop down list of stock replies comes up.

Everyone debating in this thread - I love a good debate, but the simple fact is, to wade into that clusterfuck of an argument is more trouble than its worth. Suffice to say, very little of anything anyone thus far has said, is or was anything better than complete self serving horseshit.
