I just don't get it. Why have sex with someone you'll probably never see again, or never talk to beyond smalltalk, or never have a reason to know or spend a lot of time with? Why not just masturbate?

One night stands are better than masturbating another night. Don't see how you don't get that. Of course it doesn't compare to sex with someone you love but it definitely above using your hand.

You don't need to know someone on a deeper level to get pleasure out of sex. Atleast I don't.

Yes I would because I actually paid attention in Sex Ed class.

Casual sex doesn't mean you automatically get stds.

how so?

Casual sex does not equal unprotected sex.

Did your sex ed class preach abstinence?

You actually got sex education in sex ed? Mine was a complete joke, it was a low level human anatomy course that also touched on pregnancy and maybe a short description of the effects of each STI. No discussion about sex itself, nothing sex positive. I think sex ed is meant to scare kids out of having sex and not actually educate.

That's the same education I got too. My dad came to my room one day and said make sure you use condoms. But they said don't have sex till you're older. I did it at 15. I've had one night stands, they can be fun! But I feel now that I'm getting older and I want a partner who I can have sex with consistently. And know each others bodies so it's not just pump pump pump cum.

In my sex ed class, we got the whole how to put on a condom with a banana demonstration.

DwnWthVwls 08-21-2014 02:28 AM

That's awesome. Nice to hear a school is not naive about the teenage sex drive.
