We were never not friends boo. I was letting you know before you crossed a line that would make us not friends. All the social media I know about is for very short comments about stuff and doesn't promote discussion.

Idk I've been doing the same stuff on the internet for the past 14 years and never noticed an increase or decrease in forum popularity. I think it's the best thing for what it is until some can think of a better way to promote online discussion. I'm genuinely curious where you are noticing these trends.

i can't find specific data at the moment but i know for a fact that rapmusic.com was at one point one of the internet's highest traffick forums... today it is dead.

ebauamsworld was once a big one too... also dead.

ebaunation flourished for a little while... now similarly dead

killermovies was even a decent sized forum... now practically a ghost town.

maybe tomorrow i will have the energy to search up some article for you with figures and ****..but i am pretty confident that this is a dying medium.
