Default Computer DJ programs? Which one?

I am listening to Ferry Corsten, DJ Tiesto and some others. I am wondering what types of programs do they use to make the music that they do?

I know of fruity loops that is out there but, do they use other programs?

Any help/advice about what programs they use and what other programs are out there would be greatly appreciated:-)

Acid Pro

on hte DJs that i listed originally, are these the programs they use? I would like to learn how to use everything like they do. I might not be as good but all i can do is simple few second loops(in fruity loops).

Arethere any online manuals for Fruity loops or Reason 3.0?

My Advice is Fruity Loops it is the easiest for a beginner to learn. Reason and Cubase are more advanced and Acid is not really what ur looking for i dont think.

Thats my opinion.

Highly doubtly that they used reason or FL
they are most likely using:
Logic and
Cubase

Ableton Live is amazing. Most DJs you see with laptops are using it for their live sets even. Powerful stuff.

Whatever you do people, please DO NOT private message me a link to a place that I can get hold of a copy of Ableton.

Ableton is the industry standard - also what I use to make my mixes. Takes a bit of work to get decent with it (as it simply has SO much to offer...)

Yes, I like Adobe Audition too, very good program. Myself I use Traktor, works wonders, if you know how to use it.
