Daft punky I'd say.

I was a little disappointed with this. Not as much as with Digitalism (that album is a total disaster), but out of the whole Electro House Digitalism/SMD/Justice trifecta, Justice are the only group that really holds up.

I mean, the songs on ADSR are fun, and I loved them as singles, but as an album this doesn't really stand up. The album edits they did make the album WAY too short (it's only like, half an hour), and the only really cohesive element is the cheesy 90s throwback thing all the songs have going on. Another thing, which I'd noticed but hadn't really put my finger on until a reviewer pointed it, is the awful production. The whole thing sounds really tinny, which is strange given how great the singles sounded on their own.

Given that SMD's entire success is pretty much built upon the success of "We Are Your Friends," one single ("Hustler"), and being associated with the whole Nu-Rave thing, I wouldn't be surprised if they disappeared pretty quickly.

Justice has been so f*cking hot for a while, and I have very little to work with. Any help?

I'm a simple boy of simple pleasures, give me a good beat and I'm good.

I've never really understood this criticism , when albums were made on vinyl it was commonplace for albums to be 30 - 40 minutes long. Just because you can fit 80/90 minutes on a CD doesn't mean you have to.

As for this album , I thought it filled half an hour nicely. And it ended before I had chance to get bored of it. If anything other bands should learn from that.

Yeah, but having listened to the singles for months now, the shorter edits just seemed strange. The album tried to make a batch of songs made for the club into one made for your living room, and it didn't work out.

It's The Beat is a great song to dance to but I haven't been inspired by anything else yet.
