Default Tycho

T Y C H O M U S I C

Recently read an article on Tycho, and hadn't heard from them since Sunrise Projector.
I fell in love with Past is Prologue no longer than four hours ago, and here I am about to babble on about it.

This album is so ****ing impressive.
So melodic, so laid back.
And rarely do I find anything along the lines of AMBIENT to be a pick of mine.
However, this Scott Hansen is polished.
It's upsetting to think that our society is so narrow-minded about music, while **** like this is floating around.
"The Disconnect" is one of those songs that you stay in your car to finish.
The kind of song that makes you stop every thing you're doing, just to listen.
If you're ready for something mind-blowing, get into this.

I quite like my ambient music, and this is growing, but it's not original enough for me. I usually like my ambient music to build a little. I am D/L an early E.P as we speak and will delve deeper, but kudos for the thread. It's always good to hear new music.

Sorry to double post, but you may like this. It is very ambient, but it's absolutely stunning.

It's the soundtrack to the film SOLARIS.
