House music is more soul based. The vocal phrasing can even have elements of disco and even some funk. The music is warm with smooth bass lines and even guitar licks and brass. TBH the dance sub genres are as big a nightmare as Metal sub genres!

Hmm, well that's not too different from Oakenfold, a little more dancy though.

Yeah, I can't really listen to much of this stuff, kinda boring.

I know what you mean. I used to hate a lot of this music with a vengeance, until I actually `got' it. It's not groundbreaking and most tracks fall out of the loop after a couple of months, but it's just good uplifting music that does'nt demand too much attention.
