Freestylers

This British Duo date back to 1996 and in my opinion are as good as Chemical Brothers but their willingness to use unknown vocalists, MC'S and musicians has hindered their profile. Their music covers Breakbeat, Techno, Rock and Reggae. They are not big on ambient tracks, but if you like Chem Bros, Fatboy Slim etc you will love FREESTYLERS.

To show their diversity:

I don't mind the freestylers, I have seen them live a couple of times, the first time they were amazing the 2nd time not as good. I really dig the tune they did with pendulum "Fasten your seatbelts"

As for the comparision to Chemical Brothers, while I would listen to the freestylers at home before the Chems, I would go to a chemical brothers show way before a Freestylers show. Chemical brothers live are insane.

I have Pressure point and it's pretty good. Not as good as The Chems in their heyday, but I do likes me some beat beat.

I rate Freestylers more than Chemical Brothers because they are just so much more fun. They are not as innovative but their music relieves everyday tedium.

Adventures In Freestyling is their most eclectic and rewarding album.

No. Judging by the recent pap that was the Chemical Brothers offering.

There are many, way better breaks producers and DJ out there than the freestylers. I would give them probably 7/10

The following I would add as acts which I would rate equal to or greater than the Freestylers:

Meat Katie
Evil Nine
Rennie Pilgrim
Koma and Bones
Dopamine
Skool of Thought
Aquasky
Krafty Kuts
Soul of Man
Drumattic Twins
Phil K
Bass Kleph
Nick Thayer
Klaus Heavyweight Hill
Rouge Element
Bassbin Twins
Freeform Five
Freq Nasty

I'm sure you have heard of a lot of these dudes.
