Playing Metal bored him at the time so Bong Ra decided to delve into Electronica and gives us Breakcore, metal riffs, Grime beats, Gabba, Jazz and anything else you want to throw in, his DJ sets are legendary affairs. He is definitely an acquired taste but the whole Electronica scene is a lot more vibrant at the moment compared to the guitar based scene and artists such as Bong Ra deserve praise for attempting a different sound out there.

What's a good album to start with, considering i was impressed with the 1st video the most?

He is quite new to me to be honest. I have Full Metal Racket and Sick Sick Sick. The former's second track has an interpretation of Slayer 'Hell Awaits" which is genius. PM if need be.

that first video is the most intriguing, just flits between all the genres you mentioned it seems. I totally agree with you on the vibrancy of the dance scene, it's forever mutating... it's all about the psytrance/goa vibes atm!

The first video is from Bikini Bandits Kill! Kill! Kill! and seems like the best album I have heard so far.

I have liked Bong Ra for a while........not the sort of thing I often like to listen to these days, but for those moments when I want to spin myself out with some intense beats, they hit the spot.

After listening to Bikini Bandits Kill! Kill! Kill! its a rather different beast compared to Full Metal Racket.
FMR is one of the heaviest things i've heard in a while. How do you give death metal and grindcore riffs that more bite? Stick some Aphex Twin style beats over the top of course. It's a frantic album, and while it seems to drag on a bit nearer the end there are some tracks which are brilliant for pumping out for a quick blast of noise. Slaytronic is the best at the moment, Jo Bench, Ram Waster and Terrorizah are great moments too.
Bikini Bandits is a much better affair i think though. Think the above but much more ecclectic, there's rap, dub, drum and bass, all sorts meshed into one. Still that same feeling of aggression though. Can You Dig It is a brilliant bassy affair, Catholic High School Girls In Trouble is the nest rap orientated song and Dub Murder provides the tiniest bit of restbite before it kicks off again half way through.
The bonus remixes are great too. Thumbs up.

Great post. I have'nt really had a chance to really dip into the albums as I have just changed over hard drives and need to retrieve a lot of stuff but I will endeavour to get through them all.
