Bright Like Neon Love is excellent. One of the best Electro albums I've heard in a while.

Bump for an awesome band.

going nowhere is my favorite song off that album, but its a pretty solid album all around, enough diversity to be able to listen to it all too.

Anybody know of them? They just released their second studio album not too long ago, In Ghost Colours. I'd read some positive reviews about it so I went and picked it up... and loved it. Their songs are filled with soothing guitar riffs that really add to the tight disco beats and the music is just really catchy in general and fun to listen to.

Gah. Sorry about that. I thought it seemed a little weird that my search hadn't found anything. Sorry.

Great album. Whenever my friend here it they think I'm playing some 80s pop band heh

Cut Copy's "In Ghost Colours" is one of my favorite albums this year. It came out over the summer and I'm still listening to it. I love dancing to "Lights and Music". thoughts? favorite tracks?

I enjoyed it at first, and then lost interest.

Same. I listened to Bright Like Neon Love when it came out, and at the time I didn't know too much about music and I was like "oh hey this is kind of cool". But I put it on the other day and realised how bad it is.

Alfred 12-08-2008 03:58 PM

Well, I was talking about In Ghost Colours as an album.

The first couple songs were kind of cool, but then it just got repetetive and boring. For what it is, it's simply way too long.

adidasss 12-08-2008 05:44 PM

Nope, both albums are unusually durable for electro-pop albums. The critics say so too, so basically, you're both wrong...and apparently tone deaf. :D

FaSho 12-08-2008 07:02 PM

I'm a fan of "lights and music", but that's pretty much it.

Yeah, well...

...you listen to Cut Copy.

lvsimo77 12-08-2008 08:25 PM

It wasn't until I downloaded the Hearts on Fire a capella to try to remix that I realized how incredibly repetitive they are.
