Default edIT

edIT Live:

edIT: Ants

edIT: Crunk de Gaulle (ft. TTC, Busdriver, and D-Styles.)

(3:23 edIT ****ing kills it.)

He's got two albums out, both are great. The first is more emotionally exercising, the second is more of a nod to dancefloor electronic hip hop. The first song is from the first album, second from his other. If anyone wants them, just ask, I'll PM them.

I've always loved edIT's work, the first time I heard his work was the SunShowers (edIT Redo) with Busdriver.

I made a thread on Glitch Hop a few pages back and actually did a mass send off on this forum on his 2004 album Crying Over Pros For No Reason. Nice to meet another fan though.

The production on that second video is super excellent. The vocals were maybe a bit processed for my liking, but I'm going to remember this guy.

Long-time edIT fan here, great producer. LoathsomePete recently introduced a lot of people on the forum to the first album, Crying Over Pros for No Reason. I was really shocked by the second album when it came out, but it's pretty damn good once you get past how different it is.

Regarding the vocals, they are guest vocals and not his own (it's TTC, Busdriver and D-Styles), so they don't appear on the entire album. The first album is instrumental.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I think the "Artsy" remix featuring The Grouch on vocals was the best one off Air Raid Material. It really does a good job at describing the people at one of the coffee shops in downtown Reno. I know it's a little mean spirited but it just cracked me up because of how true it was. "The Night Shift" was easily the second best on the album, well at least out of the songs that featured guest vocalists.

For me "Night Shift" was the one that first grabbed me (of the vocal tracks). Great tune. I was actually not into "Artsy" at all the first few times, and still think it's just ok, though I cannot relate to it in the way you stated. I just thought it sounded too pretentious even though it's tongue-in-cheek.

Live video up, it's too cool. The Game Is Not Over transitioned into Battling Go Go Yubari in Downtown L.A., with 2Pac and Biggie over-dubs.
