Avicii has recently retired from touring, so that's going to hurt his lifetime numbers a bit.

Kind of surprised about Kaskade. I read in an article once that he really wants to have a #1 hit, something he hasn't been able to do. But it seems he's done quite well for himself otherwise. Not too shabby, I say. I'll take a cool $43 million for not having a #1 hit, Alex.

Also surprising not to see Skrillex in the top 10 for total net worth, as you couldn't have a conversation about electronic music the past few years without hearing his name. Wonder what he's doing with it all?

Kaskade still has plenty of time to make number 1 hit!!!
Talking about Skrillex - a lot of depend on producers, management and contracts. Plus don`t forget how many years Tiesto for example performing as one of the most popular DJs.

Out of curiosity I went to look up Skrillex's numbers and he's supposedly at 36 million. So even though he isn't in top 10 he's probably 11 or 12.

Yeah. Not surprised about Tiesto or Daft punk given how long they've been in the game. And Calvin Harris is like the Taylor Swift of the DJ world. Skrillex might be putting a lot of it back in to his co-owned label OWSLA, too, so you might be up to speed on your analysis. That, or he just likes to party like a rock star.

All the same names, just Chainsmokers instead of Avicii.
