NO! lol I dont really like it.. its too synthesized.. poppy... ughh sounding for me.. I guess there are exceptions though.. Kai Tracid project are Japan based I believe.. and they are excellent. I can't say I'm very well heard in japanese but from what I've heard I havent really taken to it..

Tokyo Ghetto Pussy Project is a good group though if you can find em

Ive lived in Tokyo for the last 3 yrs and some of the best shows ive seen are from Shinichi Osawa. More house then Techno though. Ken Ishii is waay to synthy for me, but you may like Co-Fusion (minimal/tech) also Dexpistols makes a lot of remixes.
